A Mixed Stay
dirty carpetsmisleading website
The hotel website showed some L'Occitane products. I found mixed bottles filled with water, quite disappointing. Dirty carpets throughout the hotel gave off a 'tired' vibe. I think that is unacceptable.

the breakfast offered many choices. there were beans, toast, and eggs (i especially liked the eggs). the room service was also excellent with new towels every day.
the air conditioning did not seem to function properly. it was difficult to sleep since it was too hot, even with the ac set to 18 degrees celsius. i also found the noisy neighbors to be disruptive .

I found the location very convenient. Many scenic spots were within a thirty minute walk. The complimentary breakfast provided a wide variety of options. I also enjoyed the sidewalk seating at the busy restaurant next door.
The room lacked a specific amenity, and I felt the hotel should address it. The minibar prices seemed somewhat elevated.

the breakfast had a good selection and was fresh.
The hotel shouldn't be rated five stars. their parking was unavailable so they sent us to another parking costing 35 euro for 17 hours. It charged per hour! there were spiders with their webs at the balcony. I guess they do not clean the balconies.
